Well, the site is back now (it wasn’t working for me for a bit). False alarm, perhaps. Oh well.

Dan’s take:

I have a dream that, fifteen years from now, Earn This will be one of the world’s great brands. As iconic as McDonald’s, as innovative as Tesla.

When that happens and some journalist inevitably writes an “unauthorized history” of the site, they undoubtedly will devote a whole chapter to the fifteen minutes in May 2015 when the site was down for 15 minutes a bit after midnight, maybe.

And it will be titled “The System Was Down.”
