Earn This hit another big milestone recently: our fifth birthday! We used that as an inspiration to put together a retrospective on the past five years of entertainment. (Of course, it took us two months to actually get our acts together… but better late than never!)
What we decided to do was each pick our five favorite entertainment “things” of the past five years — movies, books, music, shows, games, etc. etc. — along with a couple brief comments on each one. The rules were specifically open-ended, a chance for us to opine on a few things that we love. Some of us ranked our five, others did not. The only requirement: Each thing included had to be released, in its primary form, no earlier than August 22, 2009.
